Looking for a few good buyers in North Kingstown, RI 02852 - sounds interesting...well I was at the sign store having some web site riders made up when the business owner showed me a sign he was making up for another realtor. Yes, it was to say " Looking for a few good buyers in North Kingstown, RI 02852". Well I do understand the chagrin the other realtor was feeling in doing this sign but where would he place it!!
Not on my house or my office you don't- I say!
It has challenged me also this month to get clients pre-approved through the mortgage lenders as the buyers credit scores are not where they need to be. More work is definitely needed by the buyers to get their credit card outstandings under control and their general debt to income ratio in line with the lenders parameters. A good and solid pipeline of referrals helps when the referrer has a better understanding of someone else's FICO score. We know that won't happen. 
Who wants to share that information except with Suze Orman. I'm working with a number of buyers to get their credit scores up and I'd say that 80% of them are learning better financial management skills from me and the mortgage lender. A sense of paying forward does come out of this lesson. It will be a great day to see the buyers financial houses get in order so they can buy a starter house of their dream....here in North Kingstown, RI 02852.
