The Jamestown RI 02835 Real Estate Market Statistics for the month of May 2010 for sold properties were as follows:
6 homes sold in Jamestown RI 02835 in May 2010, as follows:
1 home sold for $5.7 million
3 homes sold for over $400,000
2 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
5 homes are in pending at the end of May
Overall there were 77 homes on the market during May 2010 in Jamestown RI 02835 and due to the low number of homes on the market I am not showing percentages. There was an increase of 2 homes sold over the prior month of April 2010.
However, the Federal Tax Credit which ended in April 2010 (military status personnel have an extension for another year with some restrictions - go to www.irs.gov for more information) fueled some buying for present homeowners upscaling or downsizing their home due to the tax credit. The Federal Tax Credit did not assist Jamestown RI home buyers since all homes sold were over $300,000.
