It is the time of year for bunnies, colored eggs and lots of candy to hunt for and so is the season for locating colorful and festive homes in Wickford, RI. Wickford is a historic village located within North Kingstown, RI and goes back to when it was successfully established in the 1600's.
Besides being a great village, bordering Narragansett Bay and just being quaint, it has a festive array of Easter egg colored houses all up and down the Main Street and the side streets of the Wickford, RI community. Well it's hard to top a Faberge egg for Easter
but you get the full feel of great color, community and homes to purchase as you walk the brick lined sidewalks of the Wickford village.
We as a Rhode Island community and not only in Wickford, RI have experienced this past week the greatest flood in 200 years! All Rhode Island communities are pulling together and need the Faberge egg colors of homes to spark life again into the RI home communities. Believe me there is nothing like house sump pumps producing streams of water into the street to know so many homes in this state have had devastation due to the past weeks flood.
But just like I don't like to share the smell of rotten eggs with others the better side of this equation is what remains in good standing in this little Wickford, RI community like the Wickford Yacht club with the boats all ready to be launched and the hundreds of houses that were spared long term damage.
So if you are looking for some fabulous colored Faberge colored homes and are out for a drive do come down to Wickford, RI and enjoy that special Easter season this week....remember house colors can always be changed and I am an egg roll away...
