Well Lion King has come to town live on stage in all its roaring splendor at PPAC - 
Providence RI...Providence Performing Arts Center for 3 weeks is delivering this wonderful Broadway stupendous show for us Rhode Islanders. From February 1st through February 20th this extravaganza is here on stage. What a way to shake the winter blahs!
This Disney spectacular that brings animals to life in amazing form, dress, dance and singing is a delight for children and adults. The visualization of the performance can't be captured by writing - it is a must see. My mom took me with my sister and nieces to see Lion King in New York City a couple of years ago and it was just unbelievable. Having been fortunate to live in the city in the past and be able to see Broadway performances, I adore these shows.
I always thought I would be a dancer on Broadway...it was one of my most favorite dreams...alas, I entered the financial industry and then became a Realtor and now I dance at the gym!
The Lion King tickets can be purchased on line, by phone (401-421-2787) or at the box office at 220 Weybosset Avenue in downtown Providence.
The Lion King show runs for 2 hours 45 minutes including intermission. Ticket prices are from $28- $133 (10% discount on Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday evening). Please check the PPAC web site for show times by day.
It may be your only chance to see it in RI this year and it is more memorable than a dinner out. Lion King on Stage in all its Roaring Splendor at PPAC - Providence RI.
