Plumbers' Haunts in Real Estate.  Another day in the life of a RI Real Estate agent and should have been posted yesterday since it was a great 'caturday' post.  My cat decided to alert me to a technical problem going on in the basement.  He never howls but he was howling the other day so I finally went downstairs to see the gas furnace water pressure very high, expansion tank filled with water and water leaking from a number of places.  The non-plumber I am, it was text time to my trusty plumber.

Well as things happen with my plumber and he says we are sympatico since he has been suppose to come over for a week to put another expansion tank on my system due to town water problems...never made it.  This issue had nothing to do with the towns water problem but timing is everything.

Of course my gas heating system is older & lots had to be hacksawed off but he did the over haul but didn't have the extra expansion tank in his truck...so he wrote nice instructions for me and sent me out to get one while he worked on the other problems.  I like his use of recyclables!  It worked.

Thank you Adam Perry, you saved the day for me with the help of the cat.  There would have been no heat shortly!  Enjoy your animals whims today...mine has an extra helping of catnip for his efforts too.  Plumbers' Haunts in Real Estate.
