Nestled between South Kingstown and Charlestown RI, this town offers a lot in the way of recreational activity for all members of the family. Whether you are older or younger, there are over 1000 different programs scheduled at or around the park system for the enjoyment of local residents (non-local residents can participate for a fee).
Besides its coastline and waterfront areas, South Kingstown has an amazing number of public parks for the residents to enjoy. Now for a population of under 30,000 residents this is unusual in my experience as a realtor to find. In fact, South Kingstown has over 16 public parks they maintain throughout the town all administered by the Recreation department. Honestly, a South Kingstown RI resident can never be bored with all the activities the town offers its residents. Another reason to consider this locale when one is considering South County towns to move to.
