Texas gunslinger arrives in Roger Williams homeland RI . Well there had to
be a gun smoking, trail blazing opening to this post. Scott Hayes and family have made their blazing way to visit family near North Kingstown, Rhode Island this week. With pleasure I got to connect with him yesterday...it is so good to meet the Texas guy for real as well as his lovely wife Jody, his twin girls and Jody's mom.
I knew he was coming up to RI and I told him he should give me a call. Since it is his family's vacation and he is visiting his mother in law who lives in RI not to far from me, I wasn't sure he'd have the time but Scott was true to form and gave a shout out to me. Where to meet ...well it had to be at either our famous Newport Creamery or Del's Lemonade...we chose Del's - famous RI lemonade with delicious real lemon bits in the glass- one of his wife's favorites.
I gave the girls pinwheels and they smiled for me! Scott and I had a chance for a quick conversation and they were off. Hopefully, we will catch up again at Raincamp. Our real estate business pulls us together from all over but our friendships on AR draw us together here, don't they?!
I commend this Texas man for taking time to connect with his compadre on ActiveRain...I hope the Hayes family have a great week and the final question I have for Scott is...did you and Jody have Awful Awfuls at Newport Creamery with the girls??
