2 homes sold over $400,000
5 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,00
6 homes sold for under $300,000
There were 194 North Kingstown homes for sale in April 2011 which was a substantial increase over the North Kingstown RI homes on the market from the prior month (26 more homes came on the market). We are finally seeing the spring home inventory increase just like the weather here in RI is finally getting better. This increase in inventory benefits the buyers out there right now.
North Kingstown has maintained a good supply of homes and the waterfront and coastal North Kingstown homes are available for the choosing. The homes sold continue to be primarily in the under $300,000. Yet, the sold homes continue to be sold at a steady rate with only a decrease of one sold over the prior month.
Mortgage rates dropped again and remain at under 5% still. Such a great time for North Kingstown first time home buyers especially to find the locale of their choice and then the right price range. Ensure you have your pre-approval in hand before searching for a home.
The North Kingstown RI homes sold in March were down slightly (1 sale) over the prior month. The buying and selling activity in this growing town remains stable. With a notable school system, it attracts families from all over RI and beyond to settle into this town. Good school systems tend to support good real estate values for property owners too.
Pending home sales have remained the same over the prior month. There are 25 homes in pending status in North Kingstown RI this past month ( no pending waterfront homes). Finding the right house in this coastal community as well as in historic Wickford Village is the goal of every buyer. Out of state buyers are contacting me now about luxury homes for sale so I do expect real estate in this community to be continually active this spring.
The historic Wickford Village just had its 'Daffodil Days' which brings visitors out to walk the village with its marinas, stores, restaurants and great historic homes all along the waterfront of the town.
