Overall there were about 284 homes on the market during the month of June 2010 in South Kingstown RI 02879 which was a negligible decrease (by 6 homes) in the number of homes over the prior month of May 2010. Home inventory appears to be staying constant from month to month at this time.
Even with the expiration of the federal tax credit for home buying the number of homes sold in South Kingstown increased to 27 solds for June 2010. This is a 22% increase in homes sold over May 2010. The majority of the homes sold were either under $300,000 or over $400,000 in sales price.
Pending sales increased over the prior month of May by 25% by month end with 30 homes in agreement or pending status and awaiting their closing.
