The South Kingstown RI 02852 Real Estate Market Statistics for the month of September 2010 for sold properties are as follows:
29 South Kingstown RI homes sold:
11 homes sold for over $400,000
2 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
16 homes sold for less than $300,000
Overall there were approximately 275 homes on the market during September 2010 in South Kingstown RI 02852 which was a 3% decrease in the number of homes over the prior month of August 2010 (a decrease of 9 homes on the market). The inventory level remains higher which means buyers have more homes to choose from and be selective about. Besides that mortgage rates continue to remain at unprecedented low rates for buyers.
The number of homes sold in South Kingstown increased by 19 homes to 29 homes sold in September. Home sales may be slow moving in some months but right now South Kingstown home sales are moving quicker then other surrounding South County communities.
Pending sales decreased to a total of 24 homes in agreement in September 2010 which is down from 41 homes the prior month. Although there is a decrease in upcoming closings on homes there is the indication that homes are closing faster then prior months. So this month has been a 'catch up' month for South Kingstown home sales.
