that whenever food is ‘about’ to be put on the grill he has the great sense to come down the road and pay us all a visit. It is really uncanny this ‘other’ sense of his since the food isn’t even out yet and he knows the chow is about to happen- no matter the time of day! Pretty good ‘people/food sense’ don’t you think?
In my real estate market,North Kingstown RI and surrounding towns, we all wish we had that sense to pick the right real estate deals even before we see them or know that the newly listed house will be the 7 day seller! Aaah, I am working on this sense really hard today.
One thing my real estate experience has shown me is that being on top of your real estate game is in customer service, internet marketing, a bit of detective work and knowledge of North Kingstown homes (or your own local market) makes one proficient and good at the craft of home selling. The changes in the mortgage rates, lending requirements, credit worthiness all make the difference in a great ready, willing and able buyer for your sellers.
Can’t always sniff these buyers out all the time because perhaps the buyers’ agent has not done their proper homework…we all know the pre-qualification letter does not do it now…but asking the right questions leads the way to whether or not that the buyers can make that down payment and qualify for a loan for your sellers’ listing…oh really, the buyers just bought that new car and the buyers’ agent didn’t know this fact!
So do your homework, go the extra distance in this buyers market and sense what it will REALLY take to sell that newly listed home for sale… regain your marketing stature and prove that the seller was right when they chose YOU to sell their home.
