Swedes know how to use body heat to ensure the 'green' energy savings at their rail station... unlike college days and all of us piling in a VW in Kingston RI 02881!
No, the train travelers body heat in Swedens Train station that is given off is true reusable energy being recycled in a really green way-we could take a lesson from. The country's engineers are capturing the body heat of the commuters to heat the large train station- saving an extraordinary amount of dollars (kronas?) in heating costs. Skol to the Swedes and lets see what we all can do as Earth Day approaches...even in our own houses in little ole Kingston RI there are countless ways to approach it (check out my past blogs). As you consider your part this week in honor of Earth Day check the houses out in your area and see what life changes may benefit you and your earth.
Maybe it's time for downsizing to a smaller home to make the energy changes you need for the longer haul in life...I'm not saying to camp out in a VW though.
