Lotus Flowers | Spectacular Rhode Island Real Estate?!

Lotus Flowers | Spectacular Rhode Island Real Estate?!  It is that time of the year just outside Wickford RI that all photo aficionados long for.  The amazing lotus flowers of Wickford are in full bloom and add to the spectacular landscape of Rhode Island real estate.  Now many people confuse these sacred flowers known well in Australia and Asia with water lilies - no comparison.  These flowers are an absolute sight to behold.

Lotus Flowers in Rhode Island real estate- Wickford RI

Over a 2 foot expanse of one flower!  Can you believe it...you need to get up close and personal to really believe that what you are visually inhaling is REAL!  Just stunning to capture digitally to share with all.  The lotus flowers last about 2-3 weeks in full blooming stature and have a constant stream of cars stopped to enjoy this spectacular annual sight.

This pond full of lotus flowrs is located along Boston Neck Road just outside of Wickford Village in a small pond just before the entrance to 40 Web Avenue and the Hamilton Harbour condos.  So if you want to capture the lotus flowers on camera this year and enjoy another part of Rhode Island real estate, there is no time to wait.  They will be gone before you know it.  Lotus Flowers | Spectacular Rhode Island Real Estate?!

Good morning Ginny -

WOW... I don't think I've ever seen a Lotus Flower!  Two feet across now that's one large bloom.  I can't imagine.  Do they smell good?  Thanks for sharing with us.

Hi Ginny,

I do not recall seeing lotus flowers but maybe it is too hot here in California for them to do well. They are beautiful and I am sure Rhode Island is a lovely place to live. I was recently in Boston and Hyaenas Port and the weather was nice and so was the scenery. The east coast has four seasons and I love it when the leaves start falling. I hope to get to your state one day soon.

Hi Ginny, This is very impressive and I am sure many will better understand the difference between water lillies and lotus blooms. Well done. The size and scale is just amazing.
