a summer's day then to watch all the sailboats on Narragansett Bay?
Well if you have an appreciation for waterfront Rhode Island real estate and its coastlines, you understand the tilt here. Especially when there is a sailboat regatta in the wind! Oh, and it is happening this weekend!
It is time to watch the classic Herreshoff sailboats and other classic boats race in Narragansett Bay from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. It is a free event for spectators. Best viewing is from the East Bay along the waterfront in Bristol RI.
The Herreshoffs built one of the most renowned racing sailboats for the America's Cup, the Reliance. It is a heritage that is to be honored by all who love the waters of Rhode Island.
World renowned sailing ships, the tradition of building these Herreshoff yachts in Rhode Island and launching into Narragansett Bay is exciting.
So come out today for the Herreshoff Classic Regatta on Narragansett Bay. Treasure the waterfront Rhode Island scene that allows us to showcase our pristine Narragansett Bay to all. Hope to see you there!
