Galilee Fishing Tournament - Narragansett RI 02882. The DEM and the RI Saltwater Anglers Association will continue the First Annual Galilee fishing Tournament and festival. It is being held on Sunday September 9th at the port of Galilee. Galilee is an original fishing village within Narragansett RI.

Admission for the tournament and festival is FREE.

The Galilee fishing Tournament and Festival will feature local seafood and food vendors, artisans, music and educational exhibits. Activities include a sea creature touch tank, a rock climbing wall and music performances. There will be a host of things to do rain or shine along the Narragansett coastline.
On Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. the Galilee fishing organizers will offer guided tours of a fish processing plant and more.
The tour begins at The Town Dock, Inc. (behind the event site). Lean about the commercial fishing ventures that have been a mainstay of this Galilee port for decades. It was the lifeblood o Narragansett and Rhode Island for many years.
