Ginny's RI House Hunt Blog: GOOGLE Why Don't You Love Me More?

GOOGLE Why Don't You Love Me More?

GOOGLE Why Don't You Love Me More?  I seem to do all the right things for you with my web site, GOOGLE + interaction, waterfront Rhode Island real estate YouTube video channel, GOOGLE Maps, GOOGLE PlacesActiveRain blogs and all the other sites I share shamelessly on!

In fact GOOGLE I am working myself silly for you!  And yes, it is with original quality content...it is just little ole me writing time and time again about my love of Rhode Island real estate.  Well just not always for you because I am interested in those buyers and sellers in RI real estate.  In fact, my specialty is waterfront RI real estate (hint, hint),

Now YOU have not denigrated me with PANDA or other changes I admit but GOOGLE you have not done anything for me either?

Alas, I feel lonely in this swill of real estate stuff that comes at you every day.  Yes, I do know GOOGLE that you must prioritize importance...but can you not give me a chance!

I get it.  You want me to work harder.

I do still wonder GOOGLE Why Don't You Love Me More?

Maybe Google is just playing hard-to-get?  I actually enjoy the chase for the top of my area's Google page!

Wallace, i do have to admit the chase is so much fun....but i like to catch once in awhile...

Ginny...The mystery of Google has me befuddled as well.  Some things work well and others don't even get a second look.

Ginny, It's a mystery, just the way they want it to be!  That's got to be a pretty competitive search phrase you're chasing down!

Although you do have good page 1 placement, and you're the first one with images, and also the only one with your photo associated with your website, so I'd think the odds are good for clicks.

Google is aware that computer savy people play games with it so it has to keep changing how it works.

You're showing up #4 for North Kingstown realtor (your brokerage site #3), so that's good.

That aside, I look to optimize your footer.  Make the first link (w/ key words) to your site.  Not sure why you're linking to that "business" site.

You have a lot of links there...and the one to your site (which I would think would be highest priority) is #10.  Switch it up and maybe delete links.  You're diluting your link juice.

Perhaps Google found out about those links that are now . .not supposed to help you anymore. . who knows!

ah but if you are an active rain poster, google loves you just enough to put you in the top few spots and that is awesome

Yes, great thoughts i do make page #1 but i want to dominate page 1 at least half of it...Deb...i'll need to talk with you on my footer...thanks all...keep on blogging.

Ginny, you work so hard at getting to be #1 in Rhode Island real estate, cannot imagine you are not at the TOP!

Ginny, You can't beat Trulia, homes.com, and Realtor.com for placement in organic search results, but you come up right after that in the Google Places section and are in the #1 spot.  I do think Google likes you a lot.  You also come up on Page 1 four times for the keywords "North Kingston RI real estate"  I think that is really good!

Ginny: I seem to do better on Google with the short sale brokerage websites than I do with the AR site--although I certainly try my best to work on both. Maybe Google doesn't like red?

George, :)

Melissa, i think they see RED with me...actually my short sale posts cover ri...but i'm tackling waterfront & it is tough..

Ginny, I have found some specific data that may reveal an opportunity to advance your standing for your hint hint keyword. I'm preparing a site analysis product launch and you'll be a perfect "test" candidate which means no charge for you for something I'm planning to release at $250. This analysis will reveal how to overcome at least several of the websites that are ahead of you. I've already run the initial analysis and it looks promising. Interested? Take two breaths and call me in the morning and we'll get right on it. I'll need about 45 minutes of your time to cover it. I'm on PST so give me until around 10:30 or 11AM your time to get to my office.

Hi Ginny,

I for one can't for the life of me figure out how Google works, but I don't think you're doing too bad. You're a lot more tech-savvy than I. Keep up the good work as a top North Kingstown short sale agent!
