29 South Kingstown homes were sold in September 2012, as follows: 
6 homes sold over $400,000
8 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
15 homes sold for under $300,000
South Kingstown RI Real Estate Market Update
South Kingstown September 2012 home sales are down by 19 % over the prior month.
South Kingstown Median Home Sale Price in September 2012 was $333,672. South Kingstown homes sold for a median price point of 94% of list price and were on the real estate market for 132 days. Remember the median sale price is the midpoint of all home sale prices in South Kingstown for this month (half the sales are below as above this dollar figure). Higher sales prices occurred even though the number of sales were down this month and days on market increased.
South Kingstown RI Real Estate Market Update
There were 263 South Kingstown homes for sale in September 2012 which was a 1% decrease in home inventory over the prior month. A small decline in home inventory is still working well for buyers.
South Kingstown continues to have a good supply of homes for sale yet the waterfront South Kingstown homes for sale are barely selling. There are 15 South Kingstown luxury waterfront homes for sale $1 million plus.
There are 50 homes in pending status in South Kingstown RI (pending sales are homes awaiting closing and the pending numbers are up by 2 homes over August). South Kingstown real estate is still a southern RI community that has continued strong home sales.
