Harbour condo complex is finally sold. A long, bumpy journey my buyer says with lapses by the short sale seller (changing mind 90% through process to pay off the mortgage ).
Yes, there were bumps with the lender, hurricane Sandy to delay the closing (no we did NOT let it stand in the way yesterday), flood zone property and he hasn't moved in yet and let us not forget his ex-wife is named Sandy (aka hurricane Sandy!). Phew!
There was no lack of drama getting to the closing table with this waterfront North Kingstown condo. It is time to take a breath and know the storm surge did not cause flooding on his condo. That is what good flood insurance is all about and he has it in his monthly condo fee no less.

My buyer found me due to my strong marketing online, called me up, we met when he came in form out of state and he hired me as his buyer's agent. Ginny....nothing like living on the waterfront in RI in spite of the storms. Did the lender require any reinspection or reappraisal? I am running into that here with clients that have upcoming closings. Glad this deal got done for your buyer!
